florida Motorcycle crashes and injuries raise as motorcycle sales plummet
Even though motorcycle sales are down 46%, Florida Motorcycle crashes and injuries are climbing. Is the Florida Rider Training Program doing it's job?
We question the effectiveness of the mandatory motorcycle training in Florida. The MSF course has proven to be ineffective, and we appear to be suffering from it's affect.
Motorcycle Crashes and Injuries climb in 2008
Motorcycle crashes are
up 4.49% and injuries are up and still climbing. Most dramatically, injuries for motorcycle passengers are
up 14.80%.
Although overall fatalities are down 7%, motorcyclist fatlities are only down 2%. Bike week Magazine calls for a independant study to determine if the Florida Rider Training program is working. So far the results appear grim.
